Here's one analog observation on Halo 3's first day sales... Walking through a dorm at a large western state university Thursday evening, nearly every room was BOOMING with the surround sound effects of Halo 3, with three or four undergrads crouching in front of the screen. One dorm, 6 floors, forty rooms, four students per room, and virtually everyone was doing the same thing. Now multiply that a dozen or more dorms at 3000 colleges and universities. That's a lot of Halo 3. One prediction: The national college grade point average will be down half a grade for this fall semester.
