I test out a lot of different web services in my job for W+K. Of particular interest to me has been Indian social networks.
One that irked me this morning was Yaari.com.
First red flag: Yaari requires you to import your contacts to sign up. But I ignored the irritation and plowed ahead. Sadly. Using my personal email address.
After you check off whom you'd like to invite to Yaari, something really special happens: based on the emails I've been getting inundated with, Yaari ignores your selections and spams your entire f--king address book.
Now that's special. Yaari, until proven otherwise, you SUCK.
PLEASE IGNORE the request to join Yaari I DIDN'T SEND TO YOU.
